You are doing a great justice to the planet, believing in what you do, and more so, raising three wonderful children who I am sure drive you nuts way more that I do! Thank you for taking on that responsibility in life. I never had the fortitude to be so unselfish! We all have our place in this nutty plan of life. As someone who has been along with you on the outside, watching in as you have traveled along this path, your words have the ring of truth. To have watched you find this inner peace has been one of the true happy spots in my life over the past year. I may not have been able to take off in a Westie but I was able to watch you do it. Some of us have children and don't have the luxury of taking off in a Westie. I'm so happy for you that you do. And I don't necessarily believe the 3 weeks vacation I get and the 401k makes me "secure", because 3 weeks off is not enough and no matter how much I save, it won't be enough to live on once I retire, not the way I live now, (although it is much more frugal than it was 3 years ago) and I know Social Security isn't going to be there, so there is no real security when it comes to money issues. Besides, I truly believe the dollar is going to hyperinflate before the end of 2013, earlier if we raise the debt ceiling again. If that happens, the economy will collapse and it won't matter anyway. I could never get behind the OWS movement because it seemed to lack focus; it couldn't identify exactly what it's purpose was. That and the elements you mentioned. That and I don't agree with socialized medicine. But I think if the 99% hooked up with the Ron Paul movement, they would be a force to be reckoned with. They have the same grievances: big government, loss of civil liberties, .....but you know as I type this and I'm thinking of what the OWS grievances were, they seemed to be complaining that things were "unfair" whereas Ron Paul followers complain things are "unconstitutional." Just an observation. Maybe this is one reason they haven't hooked up. I don't know, shoot me a message and let me know your thoughts if you want. I love the way you think Sue and I love the spot you've grown to. I only wish I could be so free. Sometimes you drive me nuts, I admit that. But you always challenge me. Continue to spread joy.
